In The Gloaming is the new project from me and the rest of the Dirty Blondes. It's a series of monthly comedy-horror podcasts, and they start at Hallowe'en.
Do pop over to the blog, and sign up to be kept up to date with all that's going on. We've got special guest stars, jokes about bums, all sorts...
In this week's episode you can see the massive egos of Nathaniel Tapley and Michael Greco clash in a once-in-a-lifetime act-off. It's here. Technorati Tags: michael greco, nathaniel tapley, the meeting, actoff
The lovely people at the shiny new comedy portal ComedyBox have filmed up some of our sketches. The first one can be found here, and we'd love it if you'd go there right now, watch it, laugh, and then tell all of your friends about it. You could always join the site, and add it to your Favourite Things, and rate it very highly, if you wanted.
If you join you'll have access to all sorts of lovely comedy, both old and new, and it would make us very happy. You may recognise the sketch, but it's got newer, dirtier bits in than ever...
Yes, that's right! Not only have we been producing whole new human beings, but we've also found the time to make you lovely new songs. Or rather, East Surrey's third favourite folk trio, Clantessential, have.
So, click below, and listen in wonder to the tale of the Old Country that is: 'Cast Me Aside'
Well, actually some of the same Clantesseential loveliness, because it appears that some people didn't see that there was second video, if they scrolled down, and it's my favourite one. So I'm putting it at the top. Watch this first!
Our good folking friends, Clantessential, have just released their first music video. Watch it, laugh, email it to all of your friends, or, alternatively, if you hate it, email it to your enemies. That'll learn 'em.
Also, to whet your appetite we've got a trailer for the documentary they made whilst completing the video. It's a harrowing look at one band's attempts to bring English music back to the English, and then to make them like it. Again, if you like it, please email it to everyone you know. Or why not embed it somewhere yourself, like a cat's face. Make a cat the wandering emissary for our boob-jokes...
Enjoy! The full-length documentary is on its way...
Yes, we know we have offered you nothing since our big shows at the end of March. We slunk of into a corner, and ignored you like the recalcitrant whores we are.
That's because we're doing big, important, exciting things just for you, and don't have the time or the inclination to record frankly shoddy weekly podcasts for your listening pleasure (or horror). These big exciting things are things we will be telling you all about very soon...
To keep you going here's another piece of shoddy old tat that was hanging around the back of my computer...
Yes, it's that time again! I'm once again so bored that I've trawled through the site stats to find the absurd search terms people arriving at this site have used to get here.
Unfortunately, for the first time ever, quite a lot of the people coming here may have actually intended to, 35.85% of you actually searched for 'dirty blondes'. Again, quite a few people from India were searching for 'dirty menstrual': namaste! However, one of you was, apparently, looking for 'horses doing blondes' and another of you was looking for 'steve allen mercury fm'. I'm not sure at whom to be more disgusted...
Thank you to those of you who came along to our shows last week. We are now hugely rich and famous, and need never bother any of you ever again. To those of you who did not: there is a special corner of Hell awaiting you.
Anyway, here's a new(ish) piece of comedy audio in podcast form to stick in your jaded ears...
(And don't forget to keep an eye on our Myspace page or the calendar below to see our upcoming appearances...)
This is our next show. You should come to it. If you do, you will get a free pedometer.
This will help you to keep track of how many steps you have taken, especially if you take a lot. And if you eat it, it will make up one of your Five A Day.
Here's us doing some of our Relationships Forum at Caterham School. Well, it's At Home With Barry Scott, but it's making an important point about 'communication'. Find more at Youtube.
This is what we're doing on Friday. It says we're a 'fabulous sketch team'. It's right. We are.
Comedy at the Cottage has also just been voted the best comedy club in the South by Chortle readers. So, if you don't live in London, and do live around the Surrey area, this is as good as it gets. Annabel Giles. Oh yes. With some guy from Mercury FM.
Those of you with the time or inclination might like to come and see us at the Comic Relief night at the Home Cottage pub on Redstone Hill in Redhill. Finally, the big time!
It's from 7 onwards on Friday, 16th March. We'll be doing some family-friendly material about vicious, recriminatory sex.
It's always nice to see some friendly faces, but if you're only going to come and see us once this month, make it our show at The Horse and Groom, on the 28th and 29th. Doors at 6:30, show at 7:00, it costs £5, and there's music and laughter afterwards. What more could you want?
Here's our new podcast. Because you had to wait longer than usual for it, it's extra specially good.
The music is 'unghie/sporche' by Tagliogrezzo, and is released under a Creative Commons Licence (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported), as is this podcast...
